• The Influenza vaccine is available from September until the end of December.
  • A new Trans-nasal flu vaccine is available upon request for adolescent and adult patients ages 11- 49. It is a live attenuated vaccine delivered as a nasal mist.  NO INJECTION!
  • Adult pertussis is on the rise. Pertussis immunity wanes during early adolescence. A new Diphtheria, Tetanus and Pertussis booster vaccine is now available. Required every 10 years.
  • The Pnuemococal Vaccine is recommended every 5 to 7 years for patients with chronic ailments. All patients 65 years of age and older are urged to receive the pneumococcal vaccine. No booster is necessary after age 65.
